History

Homeland was founded in 1906.[4]

Geography

Homeland is located in southeastern Georgia at 30°51′34″N 82°1′19″W / 30.85944°N 82.02194°W / 30.85944; -82.02194 (30.859445, -82.022074).[5] It is bordered by Folkston, the Charlton County seat.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.4 km2), all land.[6]
